Notice the tall cephalic bulge--just like my A.chalcodes. Not sure this is a reliable way to differentiate T species for us hobbiests.
There isn't much to understand. Aphonopelma tend to have a much more prominent caput than what is seen in the OP's photo (or yours). That doesn't mean that the spider in question doesn't have a raised caput, it;s just not as prominent as it would be if it was Aphonopelma steindachneri. But no I wouldn't suggest using this feature on it's own to differentiate species.OK. If you say so. I guess I am not meant to understand this one.
