Hello Ryan
That's the only problem with handling these T's, some are so fast and skittish which in turn could cause them to jump and so on and injure themselves. I won't lie, I myself handle mine every now or then. So I can't judge anyone doing it, and I never will its a risk we all take.

Got an updated pic anyway.
She was obviously feeling a little weary whilst handling, so brought out her poop cannon. :)
Saying that she definately isn't insecure or lacking in self belief though and was jumping from hand to hand. :)

I've handled all Pokes except P miranda as too aggressive
I'm not worried about the bite, I'm worried I will react the wrong way due to a involuntary natural reaction and hurt the T. I wouldn't forgive myself, when I've grown more accustomed to the pokies maybe then. You guys have had them a while, so know the ins and outs I'm still learning of this genus. So in all honesty, well done in the future I might be able to say the same.

There are no recorded deaths from a tarantula bite, but that does not mean it can't happen. One could die as a result of anaphylaxis or envenomation from a " bite" depending on how your body reacts to the venom
