Awwwwwwwwwwww!
Thanks, they are lovely little things, were in rotten little pots tho, I wouldn't be surprised if they have sore feet from the mouldy substrate, it was really bad, I'm so happy to have them at home. Dakota is a bit bigger than the other two.Beautiful babies! I love the little fuzzy butts!!!
That was an awful lot of moldThanks a lot bast he is laying down now and that is probably something he has not done in a very long time, I'm amazed they haven got mud fever or the tarantula equivalent. I think he is just enjoying a nice lie down now. The other two have burrowed up near the heater. At least they can moult in comfort when they are ready now. None of them were in great condition but poor Dakota had the worst I've never seen mould like that, I would be too ashamed to sell an animal in them conditions, I was tempted to give the bloke a extra tenner so he can buy decent substrate for his next lot of ts. I am so glad I got all there of them, I hardly had any sleep last week cos I was dying to get back to the shop for them.
No he would not take advice, people are always complaining about the state of the animals in there. It is like a very bad zoo, thousands of animals in a small place and very greedy people running it. I should not shop there as I feel like I'm encouraging it but I keep thinking of the Avics the big Genic and the huge chromatus and I want to bring them home. I am not a tarantula expert but I can give food, water, shelter and warmth. That was an awful lot of moldNot sure how anyone could keep something living in those conditions and not lose sleep at night. Do you think he would take husbandry advice if you offered it to him? I sure feel bad for the next lot

Yeah, that really stinks. I hate people like that, just only in it for the money and could give a rats behind about how to care properly for the animals in their care, and then they just pass on their horrible husbandry techniques to people who would probably otherwise make great keepers/owners. I seen that quite often when I kept reptiles, and noticing it again with T'sThe other thing that bothers me, if someone is buying there first ever t, they may think they are supposed to live in those conditions. I would not rely on anyone in that shop to give after care advice.
