I think that would unnerve me too. I am not sure why, but all four of my Ts have molted in their hides, including two juvenile G. pulchra. Maybe when they get older/bigger they will flop down in the middle of the enclosure to molt.My G. pulchra is flipped right now.
I hate this part. It's been obviously premolt for awhile, had a full bowl of water, was well fed. All should go fine, but, I hate the anxiety.. lol
It's been just laying on its' back on the molting mat for like 3 hours now, hasn't even popped the carapace. The room it's in is routinely above 60% humidity because it's been so rainy lately.
I'll feel so much better once it makes some progress.
Yeah, this one is never hiding at all. It has enough substrate to dig and hide, but, it doesn't bother to.
