A few days ago, the only clue I had that my G. iheringi was close to moulting was that her feeding response was like half a ton of bricks, not a full ton. Looked in today and she was hunched up beside an unexpected exuvium. Must dust off the camera.

While not today as far as I can tell I did get some molts.

my G. grossa juvie (this one is looking amazing already)

G. porteri sling (this one is surprising. I’m going to be making a thread about this one fairly soon)

P. cancerides (she is a monster)

now on molt watch for the following:

E. campestratus (doubt she will any time soon, but she is in need of one)

A. gabeli

B. emilia female (still don’t think I’ll be able to breed her with my male)

wishful thinking:

B. emilia male (if he is going to mature this year, I would prefer he did so before it gets too cold to send him off for breeding)
