Last fed it on Tuesday. Put 2 crickets in and it ate 1 immediately. Didn't see tarantula Wednesday or check on it and just now my hubby said the 2nd cricket was still in there, so I got the flashlight and peeked under log and there's what looks like 2 tarantulas! Woohoo.. 1 is brighter though.

I told him get the cricket outta the tank and when we opened it I saw tarantula crawl away so I know its alright and the molt went fine.

I want to get the molt out but will have to move the log and all the dirt it used to seal up one side.. is that ok to do?

checked it again and it looked like she was taking the molt away, so we decided to move the log, carefully, and got the molt out, then replaced log and everything held up fine. (the dirt barricade)

What would've happened had she moved the molt? Do they bury it?

yes it is exciting.. whats really weird though was yesterday about 6am i was telling my husband about the dream i had just woke from. I was dreaming that it molted and out came a mechanical tarantula, like terminator tarantula, lol.. then a couple hours later when he saw the cricket that was still in there and we looked under the log, the T had actually molted  Like a weird 6th sense premonition thing, haha.
