I've been too busy the last few weeks to post all the molts going on. Work and hunting have taken alot of my spare time lately. Heres what I've collected while feeding this week.View attachment 33693

Now that’s a lot of molts!

I’m not sure if I’m more jealous of all the molts or the hunting time. I’ve been able to spend a whopping 1/2 day in the woods this year... not very productive.

I had five at today's feeding time. Left to right: A. geniculata, G. pulchra, B. vagans, P. rufilata, and E. cyanognathus.

Got some spider pics to go with the molt pic:

The genic was being shy:

As of this molt, I can finally see the little blue fangs on the E. cyanognathus, but I couldn't get a pic today.

Here is where I put them all after pics. Not as cool as @Arachnoclown 's collection, but I'm workin' on it...

Young Geoffrey, my little Phlogius crassipes "kutabul" finally moulted a few days ago, I had thought what I could see in his web was a moult not a bolus and I was right. He emerged today and was stretching his new longer, hairier legs and I managed to get one pic which panicked him back into hiding (I'll edit later and add it). I can count how many crickets he has had since getting him because of my log and more importantly count how many until the next moult. I say he, but being only about 1cm before moulting I don't know of course, he's now a whopping 2cm! Maybe even a little more.

And this B auratum sling molted but has it stuck. It's only on the abdomen by urticating hairs and clear of anus and spinnerets. Should give it any issues but I've increased humidity in his lil home and I did try to damp it down with cotton bud but it's abit too small to make a difference without stressing it out too much. Anything else I could try or just leave it to come off on its own?

Avicularia purpurea molted aswell

I've had success with small slings like that by moistening the moult then use tweezers to hold it and with luck the T will walk away and pull the moult off.

Cheers enn. Managed to get the majority off there's only a small patch left but it won't get caught or do it any harm. Might even fall off at some point
