Grammostola pulchripes molted. First molt I've been able to sex this guy. Unfortunate but not bummed about it. Molt around 3" so he'll be around for a while yet.

And people say there aren't any pretty beginner species ☺️

Had a couple molts over the past few days:

Orphnaecus sp. "Cebu"
Grammastola pulchripes (just found this one minutes ago, raised from 3/4" now almost 3")

Currently in very heavy premolt:

Aphonopelma sp. "New River" (I think they are just called A. Chalcodes now if i'm not mistaken. @KezyGLA )
Homoeomma chilensis female,(FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
Both Homoeomma orellani slings
Phrixotrichus scrofa (my slowest grower)

Possibly in premolt:

Aphonopelma hentzi
Aphonopelma moderatum
The smaller of the two Pamphobeteus platyomma slings
Both Grammastola grossa slings/juvies

Still waiting on:

Nicaraguan Brachypelma albopilosum adult female (months of premolt continue)

Seems like it’s been forever since I’ve been able to post here. My collection all seems to pop at the same time. Guess I’ll keep waiting...

They are Aphonopelma chalcodes. Ideally they should be labelled Aphonopelma chalcodes ‘New River’. It’s just a locality of the species, found at New River, Arizona.

This moult is a first for me, not only the speed at which Chiriquí, my little fat butt Crypsidromus sp. boquete, moulted but the first time I've had one that didn't flip.
I topped water bowl up between 10.45pm and 11.15pm and Chiriquí was plodding around as normal. glance in at 1.40am To find it was all done bar the pumping up. I was a little concerned as Chiriquí got a little stuck last moult and I had to soak a bit of exo off so I wanted to make sure that this time I got the moult out before it stuck and realised it hadn't flipped but moulted upright.

My P. irminia molted too, but I didn't get a pic. Apparently, it is time for all the arboreals to molt right now...
