Oh no, another cricket related accident here today. I could hear a tapping noise and then realized I had left a box of crickets on the storage heater and it had melted the pot full of crickets some of which had managed to ping out through the hole melted in the plastic. Once again my mogs helped me to tidy up......

Oh dear. Sorry to hear it HQ.

I amused myself a bit ago in regards to the cricks I keep. I keep a small set up in the bathroom, and normally keep small ones that really don't chirp. Last time I was in the Herp store the fellow threw in some MONSTER cricks for Velma ( I had showed him a vid of her eating). I kept hearing LOUD chirping and was thinking it was the TV I had on for the birds, but realized after a bit it wasn't. I spent hours today wandering around, looking for the elusive cricket chirping until I realized DUH! check the ones in the bathroom....

If your only feeding a small amunt. Only buy female crickets. They don't chirp. They're the ones with the "stinger"

Lol, I normally have no problems as I only buy smaller ones and only what I feed in a week or so. But this time they threw in these huge ones I didn't ask for. I am planning on feeding the males next feeding day lol.

I am HORRIBLY allergic to roaches (actually their poos). Something I found out during my stint as a home health nurse...

For a while I thought it was just the house ones, but had a similar reaction when hanging out with some giant hissing guys. :(

I'm so clumsy I will drop/burn/drown anything I buy my babies to eat. I still don't know when my baby genics are coming so will be going to see what's for sale next weekend as my friends want to get me a baby or two for looking after there horses.

After being disappointed yet again by not being able to buy any slings, me and my son decided to put on some music and put up the Christmas tree and all our house decorations! Looks awesome in here! The up side...finally moved the spare desk that was in the living room upstairs, so now I have a ton of desk space for new babies when we do finally get some lol
