Would welcome any advice on garage conversion. Had considered and outside office but giving up on that. The garage is integral to the house and so not as "exposed" as some

We just put batons on the walls, roof and door to fix plasterboard to, filling the gap behind with insulation and knocked a door through from the kitchen. The floor was done with laminate flooring. The split air conditioner I bought off eBay and a friend fitted it for me, it kept the air fresh and the temps were thermostatically controlled meaning the individual viv heating didn't have to work so hard.

Thanks....that is good advice. I had the insulation all planned but never thought of an air con unit as I always see them as so ething that cools rather than heats, the boiler is located in garage tho so hopefully nothing too "toxic" from all a the gasses. That's my only other concern.

Where did you get the tanks from they look really smart.

I bought them from a german tank dealer (here, tank = enclosures!) who made them on measure for me, so that they'll fit on the shelves. I've also some exo terras too, but I've changed the top to put acrylic tops with some holes instead of the mesh.

I appreciate to have glass enclosures, because I really like to watch my tarantulas as often as possible without disturbing them. For me, it was the best way I found, because plastic terrariums tend to become blurry with time... But it's more expensive this way...

I agree. Glass all the way for me too. I have used converted aquariums where I can (security being main point to consider with lids) Just need to have a good look at tanks on display and think out the box a little....lol. never has an escapee yet. Touch wood, rubbing rabbits foot, four leaf clover etc etc.
