So, Chaos (our obt) moulted not too long ago and I want to remove the moult. However, she has decided to web it all up and it is sitting right beside her little mini burrow that she made. Everytime I open the enclosure to remove it, she bolts right over to where it is and proceeds to sit on it lol. Any risk in leaving it there or do I need to figure out a way to get it out asap?

If you leave it in there it could attract mould and other nasty things.

Yell at her. Tell her to move.

or you could get a 30 cm thong or similiar and just gently give her a little push so she gets the hint to move away from her skin..

I kind of figured mold might be an issue :/ I do have long tongs, but she's just a complete jerk LOL. If I give her a gentle nudge she goes mental and speeds around the enclosure (a couple times almost up and out hehe), and then lands right back on the darn moult. Believe me I've tried yelling and lecturing haha. I'll head to the dollar store later and pick up a small shot glass or tupperware and try and put it over her so I can get it out. Thanks Cobalt :)

"Thong" is the right word right?

i'm just unsure if i told you to get a 30 cm long thong as in underwear to use on your obt...i meant the tweezer thingy

english is confusing sometimes.

The word you want is 'tongs' hehe :D

Mold is not an issue with an OBT. They're a dry species and in effect mould resistant. (if kept dry)
just wait. sooner or later she'll give it up.

English is confusing, even for native speakers.

I had three Finnish exchange students staying with me a few summers ago. Many of our conversations centered around the randomness of English.

Well I did end up getting it out not long after posting this. I guess she just needed to prove me wrong...she was a complete angel when I tried again, just went and ducked into her little half web/half burrow and stayed there. Goofy obt.

I haven't been able to get an accurate measurement yet (or pics), since she's not quite settled in her new home yet, but I would say she's about 2.5" now :) The guy I'm getting the babies from lives out of town, so just have to wait till the next time he's coming down, but should be pretty soon :)

I never remove molts unless they are kick out by the spider. most T's shred them up and decorate their homes with the remains or just wrapped it up in a ball and place it some where. the molt will not mold especially with a dry species like an OBT. honestly if removing the molt requires to mess up the spider webbing alot or dig the out then you should leave it.

I did manage to get it out without destroying much of her webbing, but I will definitely keep this in mind if the situation arises again :) Thanks everyone for the advice :)
