MALE B. SMITHI???

This B. smithi was sold to me as an immature male, but what is that lighter colored thing at the furrow? Excuse me if this is a dumb question but I am still new to sexing tarantulas. Could this be a female?

I'm not sure if it's male or female but that is one large and healthy looking Tarantula! Someone will be able to tell you for sure whether it's male or female. Hopefully @Kenny. can help

It's a male. The epiandrous fusillae is clear.
