is this normal?

my N. chromatus is in pre molt (doesn't take prey, blackened abdomen) and his legs became thin. it looks twice as thin as his legs when he wasn't in pre molt.

physically. especially the 2 back legs. couldn't take photos because he locked himself up in his hide last night.

i'm definitely sure he's a male. but not sure if he'll mature after this molt. he's still pretty small. IMO. 3.5 inches?

Maybe his legs looks thinner because the hairs on the legs have rubbed off or come off. That sounds weird but sometimes when they get close to molting the old exo starts looking worn.

still not mature. he just finished molting and i see no hooks.
