Hello, im new to the tarantula family, im terrified of spiders so i dont know alot about them but im learning, with that said, we recently bought a Mexican redknee.. B Smithi i think they're called.. anyways, yesterday it worked all day on completely sealing the front of its hideout log thing and today i think it might be doing the same thing to the back. Was quite fascinating to watch, i think this arachnid is growing on me, lol. My question is, Should i be worried or concerned and why would it do this? Thank you

This kind of behavior is normal. Your T may just be making itself feel more secure, or trying to make it's self more comfortable. Make the enclosure is not in direct sunlight or in the path of something like an AC or fan.

Looks like totally normal T behavior to me, especially soon after changing its surroundings. She will settle in soon!

Congrats on your new T!

if she is indeed molting then you will have to wait until after she molts to get the old skin, but its possible at that point she will have it all rolled in a ball and pretty much be useless to you. so just wait until she comes out
