My SAF A. Geniculata is currently lying on her back, ready to burst out of her old skin.
She chose a very odd place though, on top of her hollow log. I hope she won't slide down during the process, as I wouldn't know what to do then.
No photos though, as I won't disturb her and she's in a dark corner of her log (don't want to use flash or open the hatch).
Wish me luck that all goes well and by tomorrow she'll have a brand new coat.

Update: I went for a bath, checked on her again and she's nearly out already. Just the bottom of her legs to go. This is really exiting!

She finished not long after I wrote my last post. She had me really worried because she was sitting in a curled position (right way up) for ages after. Fortunately she is moving around fine now, but still keeps her legs quite close to her body. Is this normal?
I sprayed her substrate and plants again and made sure her bowl is filled just in case she's a bit dehydrated after the molt.

Hello
You will see them bundled up,also days after doing stretches like they are attending an aerobics class. This is to stretch and condition their new joints, while hardening.
