My T. Stirmi molted last night and I noticed this morning her molt was still attached to her fangs.

If at all possible use some cotton buds & using lightly warmed water, try & moisten her, around the fangs. Normally, the molt will come away, when moist.
Sometimes a mist will work, but it is not ideal, as it does tend to stress them even more. But if she is not a T whose attitude lends it's self towards helping her. Then maybe misting, is all you can do.

Thank you for the feedback. It’s much appreciated.

L. P. Salmon Pink Bird Eater!! Believe she is definitely tickling the 8" DLS mark! She's not my biggest! That title goes to my T. Apophysis. Love it though she is deep black again since the molt! Glorious indeed! Happy Spoodering fellow T junkies!! Dang I'm itchy now....lol!

Unfortunately, the molt still hasn’t come off. I’ve been using a soft small paint brush with warm water and gently stroking the area. I haven’t gotten it read on some posts, not here, but they say as a last resort I may have to use this same method but with the dish soap/water, like how you soak the molt. They said this would make it softer but I would have to be really careful. I’m not sure what to do, or even go this route. Have you, or anyone else on the forum resorted to this method, and was it successful? I’m worried about her.

Aphonopelma sp. Encino. They wanted to stay in their corner so that was the best I could do.

Feeding day today & one of my LP's has molted. I brought him, as an adult her. We then realised she was a he, at his first molt with us. However he has been with us for a few years, had grown bigger than males normally do & we have not a sexable molt since. So we had thought that we had maybe got it wrong. But no, this is his final molt, he now has boxing gloves & hooks.

My t. albo molted a few days ago for the first time since I've had her!!! I had been waiting anxiously for it to happen so I could see, and then one day passing by her enclosure, I saw the molt just sitting in there next to her. She did it so quick I didn't even notice, it happened sometime between that morning and the afternoon, lol.

She's tuckered out right now, so I've been re-researching how to take care of her post-molt. It was very funny and aweinspiring to see her just crouching next to the molt in the middle of the day.
