I am planning on giving him to a breeder to hopefully let him do his thing.

Ok Look I only started as a beginner recently and I’ve been waiting for a molt with nervous anticipation/worry. So my little gang got together and said lets give her the worst week of her spider keeping life, the week isn’t over yet. 3 down. Yesterday midday my GBB flipped over, spent 4 hours gathering her strength and 45 minutes to shed her molt. Thanks honey. I love the way she’s tided the back of her spider closet.

I had a rush in October. But Iris (A Gen) is holding out. Her butt looks like a black water balloon! The only spider in my collection so far to give me threat pose, because i was tidying up.

My husband says we’re spider doulas as they rebirth themselves. Good luck Mascara. I love their names. i have Ingrid, Iris, Ursula, Rita, Cinders, Cyd, Babe, Laurie, Toostie, etc.

I’ve got another rush coming before winter sets in. I expect Lobo (mascara) Lily (p mettalica) Bella (g. Pulchra) cassidy (Nepalese) and of course all my slings! I’m not even sure I got some of these species right. I am so used to referring to them by their name I forget what they are!

Bahaha, me too. I gave them all lovely names except Thirteen because I had a blank moment. I have good news. Iris The A Geniculata is literally just out of her old suit and back right side up. Phew. Terrible photo but her chelicerae are so cute and pale. So glad she’s out. My Xenethis intermedia might be next.
