Psalmopoeus victori surprise today

Surprised by a new suit from Red the n.carapoensis this morning. She only molted in feb! Wasn’t expecting another so soon.
(I saw the front of the molt on its side this morning before I saw her and thought she’d died!)

My Eresus walckenaeri molted! I’m quite excited, she vanished for a week or more and It never occurred to me that she must be molting! Oops. I found out when she re-emerged to toss out her molt lol. I know her enclosure isn’t the best but she seems happy. She’s enjoying a post molt snack.

They have this really nice green tinge to them.

Back.in the day people always called these boring brown spiders but im finding these guys never saw any aphonos other than chalcodes or hentzi

It’s not just the colors! The pattern on his carapace looks lovely. And he’s got a weirldly kindly looking face! What a beauty! No such thing as a boring spider! I honestly think anyone who says so are insane.
