This is a wonderful idea to collect, preserve and date the molts. For my adult female geniculata, now 7" dls, I have saved and dated every single molt since we got her at 1/3". Well worth the effort in the endWe are small but will be mighty.
It is hard for me at times to see that thin abdomen and not want to feed them. But knowing what harm could come from feeding too soon reminds me to hold off.
Brachypelma Boehmei molted while I slept. Looking good, if a little hungry. No food for you until you firm up.
