I'm so sorry to hear that, what a shame. I have a theory about water that may sound a bit far fetched but when I lived in a horse racing yard we often had a few horses get colic around the same time and I believe that occasionally there are germs in the water that make some animals ill.

Lol, I had a huge pede from thailand a few years back.. That thing would eat a dozen jumbo crickets a week.. Was nuts!

We just have teeny ones here, but they still make me nervous too. My cat got bit a couple years ago in our bathroom, still ended up kitty brunch though...and then I found one last year in the basement, and it actually rose up and just sat there staring at me

We have a few descent sized species here. I am sure the thing was 4-5 inches long but in my mind it was over a foot!

And HQ, we KNOW you escaped from somewhere, but we did too, so we don't mind...
