I shipped a T recently...my first time. She thankfully arrived at her destination safe and sound so I must have done something right. :) But I've been wondering, when things do go wrong and Ts don't survive transit, what are the causes? I know extreme cold and heat can be factors. Anything else? Just interested. Thanks!

I know somebody who ship alot of slings and he accidentally had to wet of paper towels and a huge chunk of the shipment died. sometimes shipper send the T and the T molts in the package and they died mid molt. also some are just not healthy specimens to begin with and they just don't survive the ordeal.

So much can go wrong. Certain Ts shouldn't be shipped under any circumstances because they don't ship well(mostly very large Ts), Some T's are inherently fragile, some people just don't pack well, and then there's the courrier. So much can go wrong it's a wonder anything ever arrives alive lol

I have to ship my LP when it matures! Now you've got me all scared Kenny! Thanks a lot!

Also SE, what did wetting the paper towel a bit have to do with them dying? Too wet?
