Is a molting weekend!!!

Not sure if this one happened this weekend and I've had a few to many memorial margaritas to remember if I posted it. But Raven the A. versicolor molted.

Nasty glare but it was the best I could get.

Next Koby the B. boehmei just flipped over and I missed it. Was filling another water dish and saw him move out of the corner of my eye. Went to fill his and the movement I saw was him flipping over.

And finally one of the G. pulchra molted. Not mine of course it has something against me.
My son's molted yesterday it looks like. Fangs are dark red should be black tomorrow or Tuesday.

Since both these came from the same sack in guessing mine will molt in a few days. Or else is fat lil abdomen will just pop and he'll really get my goat.

So, just experienced my first molt and it happened to be the one I never expected. I have been waiting for my N. Chromatus to molt as she looks lol Ike she's about to explode with a nice splotches dark color to her once pretty abdomen. But she is just holed up in her hide with a big Web and dirt door shut and locked tight. Not to mention seems to twitch at everg little movement Lol. The one that molted is my new little C. Cyaneopubescens (GBB) sling I have had for about a week now. She was still very vibrant. Ate recently and didn't seem bothered by anything. But came home this morning from work to find her curled up and cleaning all happy like under her former self! I'm using her/she til I know for certain. I'm going to try to get the molt out but I think she is still too small to tell ..though she put on some serious size! Surprised the crap out of me just how much she grew!!

Here are a couple of pictures, one of Vivian, my N. chromatus seemingly pissed at the world and holed up. And my fresh little GBB cleaning like a proper little lady/gentleman haha.

I think I've got my first confirmed male out of my 9 Ts. My GBB molted last night and I can't see a flap but a straight line and what looks like a "belly button" on the other side. :T:

This is what my G. Pulchripes "Chi-Chi", did to the entrance of her burrow, before molting. You can see the legs of the molt at the back of the hide. She is resting towards the front. I'm patiently waiting for her to come out, so I can facepalm when I see how big she is compared to the kritter keeper!

Ive just noticed my female juvi b.smithi laying down some web, then kicking hairs, then laying more web, then kicking more hairs and so on. Would this be a possible pre molt sign? Her abdomen isnt bald as shes not a big kicker anyway, so i cant really tell if shes darkening. Ive read that some ts will lay down a defensive barrier of web and hairs around the area that they will molt in.

It sounds as though she's getting ready.

Sooooooo I figured this is a good thread to ask this. And reading the posts I may have already answered my question. My N. Chromatus blocked up her hide with dirt and web..like completely barricaded herself inside. The only reason I still see her is because the half pipe cork bark is up against the glass. But she has been like this for about a couple of weeks now. Being able to see her I haven't worried too much as her abdomen is still nice and plump, no weird leaks or bumps. But she isn't laying a Web that I can see nor kicking hairs down onto the ground. She just seems to move around to different resting positions in there. This is more than likely Pre-molt yes? Nothing I should worry about? I know not to knock on the door so to speak I figure she will come out in time when she's ready. Call it the beginner T keeper in me, but I still have a little worry. Figured I'd ask about it just to be safe.

@Zaiaku It sounds like premoult. Not all Ts will lay a moult mat, I have a B. smithi that just turns over wherever it happens to be and moults without any preparation.
