Wow, how many T's do you have, Enn? I'm so fascinated by the people that have multiple molts every few days. So much happening.

My son has 2 and I have 41 (soon to be 42). It seems to have been a really busy week for them moulting - 10 in 7 days

Hey guys! My smithi finaly made a web for molting. How many days till she molts this time around? She's not sitting in the webbing mat so I dont think she will molt this day..

Only the spider can tell you, that's not really something that can be determined. If it's spun a mat then it'll likely be any day, but that's as much as anyone's going to be able to tell you. We can't really give you an exact amount of days until it happens.

When I got home from work the other day my LP was on his/her back so I was stoked. When I got home from dinner later he/she was just about done, however his/her neighbor the GBB had flipped and started molting as well! At first I was a little concerned because one of her back legs was still stuck to her intricate webbing and looked to be in an awkward position, but everything went smoothly and now her legs are fully blue! my little baby is growing up! :D I do feel bad their rumps are so tiny, but in a couple days they get some chunky worms to fatten back up!

I Peeked at my B.albo last night as I hadn't seen it in a while, saw she was molting, checked her this morning and she was dragging the molt around still stuck to her abdomen, stroked a bit of warm water on her with a brush and it fell right off, looks intact so fingers crossed she's fine now :)

Wow my pulchripes(2cm) will molt soon because she covered up her burrow, and my smithi(2cm) also already made a molting mat and she had a black spot on her abdomen. I bet they are trying to surpirse me for Christmas :D hahaha!

Sasquatch is moulting as I type. My Iridopelma hirsutum decided to move from its normal hammock at the end of last week and constructed a new one half way down the container and now the reason is clear.

The species name doesn't get capitalized, just the genus name. :p Also it usually gets italicized. Not trying to talk down to you in any way here, I just figured it couldn't hurt to let you know that. How big is/was the C.cyaneopubescens prior to molting?

Same here, after my A. sp "Amazonica" it should be my G. Actaeon, GBB, LP and B. Boehmei next. My LP had a cricket only yesterday, but that doesn't mean much in its case. It sometimes eat until a day before molting. Boehmei has a bald patch, but it's still tan coloured (won't need feeding though, as he's quite fat), G. Actaeon is not eating (which is unusual for it) and GBB is webbing more tunnels, like it did before its last molt.
My A. Geniculata female may or may not be in premolt. She's extending her premolt den under her log - she always sits there a few weeks before molt, but the molts either on top or inside her log (where I can see her, yay) - and is less active than usual. She usually goes into some kind of last minute recce mission before a molt where she scales every inch of her enclosure. She doesn't get a bald spot though.

Auto correct on the phone does that after the period and I'm to lazy to correct the auto correct.

Best guess is 2" before molt. I'll find out for sure when I get home this weekend and can get the molt out.

What's the easiest way to measure after molt? Usually we mark measurements on a paper and let the T stretch out if he will for a best guess measurement.
