I am picking moldy stuff out of my slings enclosures from time to time. I am I keeping them to moist? Should I go a head and transfer them into a new enclosure? They are only 1" and all I have are tall big deli cups. ANy advice would be great.

With the moist conditions that slings require, it's almost expected that some mold will develop from time to time. What I do is just pick out the mold spots and food boluses on a daily basis. Also, every week or so, I stir up the moist sub to aerate it, then retamp it. (Remove the sling first!;)) Or if it's been awhile, I'll just scrape off the very top layer of sub to expose the fresh sub underneath. Every once in awhile replacing it completely might not be a bad idea. The nice thing is that once slings hit about 2 inches, they generally don't need wet sub anymore.

Yea I am hoping these guys will molt soon. They are slowing down on their eating so maybe not to much longer. I keep them at room temp and its starting to get a lil chilly here too. considering a micro climate but Kenny says they aren't really required so kinda unsure.

I live just over the ridge so to speak; you likely will not need a microclime. If you are comfy, so are the T's.

yea that's what I think but they have slowed down on eating. Maybe they are about to molt but I had to feed them tiny mealworms which doesn't get their attention as much. I ran out of crickets lol
