Well.

I finally got a Molt but the thing is, it wasn't in as good of shape as I hoped. I was able to scavenge some pieces and after 30 min of observing the soaked exoskeleton under a magnifying glass, I finally found the part that I'm looking for. I think. Well anyways, here's what I found and it looks like a flap. Then again, I could be seeing what I want to see. There are two pictures provided, one under magnification. I may have to wait for another Molt but thought I'd give it a post anyways.

Those are indeed the spermatheca. It’s a girl!

Wow, thats awesome. It had occured to me that the clearer magnified image could possibly be a picture of the Molt upside down. In other words, the flap could potentially be on the bottom of the image rather on the top. I say this because when comparing this Molt with the Molt of my Verified Female GBB, the same lines are present in the same direction, and the flap is in the same area, when you imagine the clearer magnified Xenesthis Molt upside down. You can see the lines that lead to the flap. Attached below is my Female GBB Molt for comparison, along side the Xenesthis Species Blue Molt that I've edited to be UPSIDE DOWN. Very similar now.

Moral of the story, don't always give up on a mangled Molt!

Thank you.

As long as the furrow/area between the anterior book lungs is available the rest of the Exo doesn't matter.

Congrats
