Thought I would post a comparison between immature female and male Poecilotheria ornata.
You can clearly see the differences on the carapace markings (Lack of markings on the male) and the clear white outline on the females folio on the abdomen.

I only really rely on ornata to sex this way. The others can throw curve balls. I look more at shading and patterns than colours...

You can make an educated guess, but it's not guaranteed as these pokies do throw a curve ball every now and again.

Also I see on the pic, if I'm right the male has more prominent red abdomen hair ?
If u look at the dorsal patterns of pokies the females at 2 to 3 in starts ta fade in a couple places mostly at the top but it's very light in other places to but the male he will always have a very bold pattern ull notice the pattern in larger specimes as almost being gone for females now n again males get a fade in theirs but it will never go away like the females that's one key trick

If u look at the dorsal pattern all female pokies theirs starts to fade at 2to3in males don't or if they do it will always come back after molt and stay bold every molt of female hers starts to fade even more eventually almost disappearing and some theirs does vanish that's about the most accurate sexing trick aside the tan spot on the male vent or when he's young his vent has and almost looks like a notch has been taken out of it
