Alright well I guess we just agree to disagree on that one. That's just how things are done in this hobby. That's not being a traitor, it's just allowing the male to fulfill his purpose. Most people are pretty trustworthy in this hobby guys. We look out for each other when it comes to hobbyists who are scammers or who are unethical in any way. I just don't get that mentality is all. Most of the people who seem so against it are people who have never done it before. Of course it's up to you in the end though.

Agree 100 percent with Chubbs here. What's the point in keeping him lonely and locked up? These males mature for one purpose; to breed, before they die. Might as well send him off to someone and keep some of his slings, some of which will turn out female.

I'll have a think and maybe speak to a few sellers that I've dealt with. The trouble is we Brits love our pets too much, it's like the saying "a dog is for life not just for Christmas" and I fell in love with this one the day it arrived as a tiny sling wearing leg warmers.

Don't get me wrong, I love all my pets as well. IMO it's just selfish to keep an MM alone until death. You see MMs drumming and searching for females all the time, until they're just too weak and die. It's pretty sad to know it's never going to meet a girl until its timely demise.

I am actually torn also regarding this topic. In my head, I know that it is selfish and is for the best to let go of my male auratum in order for him to breed but I have this iron resolution to not let him go until its last days since he is my first ever T.

So, got to find a female for Tartar then. ;)
