I am so sorry for the loss of your T. hellknite, I am having difficulties with mine too, she is having a hard molt. no opening in exoskeleton yet. This is her third day like this, very scared for her.
anyway, sorry again for your loss!

This is part of the hobby. Last year I lost 2 adult males, a curly hair and a GBB. And I did had a couple of bad molts with 2 geniculatas. It's nature taking its course. It happens in the wild.

What I prefer is having a female,but it does not work that way. I just hate seeing an animal die,I am a softee with that but I do realize its nature and that males live shorter lives.

Getting a an unsexed sling and raising it to a mature T makes it harder upon seeing it die..
