Mine Grimmostola rosia has a big bald spot so mine probably will be molting! :D
Grammostola rosea have urticating hairs they can rub off when they feel threatened. The bald spot is an indication she has been stressed. Some species are just habitual kickers.
Watch the color of the "skin", when it turns blue/black like a bruise then a molt is immenant.

Thank you,she was one of my first ones I got. Got her with my brachypelma Emilia, now I have a few of the same genus. The brachypelma vagans sling on this page, is one of over 200 I got in an eggsack.
She must one of your favorites because it your members pic .
