I also own a very small sling and I cant wait for those beautiful colors. I would love to own a cobalt blue but don't feel that I am experienced enough for that yet. Maybe some day....

Cobalt blue tarantulas are also beautiful, I have those as well. Let me be honest, its more of a pet hole than a pet haha. It comes out very little, also its very slow growing positive should then be it's longevity.
Its very defensive/aggressive,so I wouldn't suggest it to just anyone.

That is exactly why I don't own one yet. I try and find out as much as I can about a tarantula before getting one. And if I were to buy a cobalt or balfouri at this stage and something where to happen to them I would never forgive myself and I would just feel horrible.

Hello to all my buds in S. Africa !!! How's the weather there?? Can you guys go out & look around and find tarantulas living in your area? No, I'm being a smart-arse! hehe Just curious, the only T's we have here in Florida are B. vagans living in martin county on the east coast. & Pythons & lizzards of all kinds. This is one of the rescue T's Really good temper- Chilly roseie hair! hehe I have heard one horror story about this species going ballistic on the owner! I have never had any problems with any of these, or any of my T's - except those Poe species- been bitten SEVERAL times by them guys! My new kids 1-B smithi , 2- Green bottles, 1-Chaco stripe knee, & now 1-curly hair- I've noticed none of my curly hairs have curly hair??hehe

Hello
We can go out and document them, but as for collection and so on its not allowed. No locals are permitted to be held captive or bred,so its a No No. As for GBB T's,I'm adding a few more I'm getting them for R160 one equates to about $16 US even less ?

Christell- Owning T's is kinda like owning any other pet/companions, It's a learning experience !! hehe
This is soo great, we spider people around the world can communicate with each other, share knowledge, & help each other! WOW! These new little ones are really being good- no escapes, umm.. except for the rose hair one that got out of a bad container- I had not had a chance to get her in one of the good ones-problem solved

Wow that's good you can get this species for so little money! Do you think the ones you get are bred locally to you??
I have actually got live caught from central & South America- Big NO-NO to have any type of Brachy from Mexico- all but one that i have are "farmed" here in the US.

Hello again
No I use other social media apps, like WhatsApp Kik messenger and some others. Its weird, but that's the price I pay for mine at the moment.

Another example, for a Lampropelma sp. Borneo Black 8cm I paid R450 $45 US or less. I can give you many more examples of this, maybe I'm just lucky haha.

I have someone that supplies me my tarantulas, also a local breeder from South Africa very well known and in my opinion a great guy 100% would support him anytime and refer people.

Yes that is a huge difference. But that is before i came across Hendrik. Now I get everything from him. :)

Yes he is the one I buy from, when I buy my Avics and so on. A very nice person, not one ounce of attitude always willing to help and reply. He is a definite for anyone wanting to order,I'd suggest anyone could try him 100%.
