just bought my first tarantula

I just bought my first tarantula its a chaco gold knee. since I'm a novice i did some research about them obviously before purchasing my new friend. but I do have some questions....

how long will it take him/her to acclimate to it's new home??
do gold knees climb??

any other pro tips would be appreciated!!

It should start to chill within a few days. They will climb if agitated. Congrats on the new T! Chaco's are great!

very beautiful all round species. my girl is one of my favourites out of all of my collection

Give your new T at least a week to settle in before feeding it or trying to handle it. I think most all tarantulas climb sometimes.

as soon as i lift the lid my girl comes strate out and climbs up and loves to go for a walk around and explore.
