Out of all the Brachys, B. schroederi is without a doubt the best eater not many know about. It's also supposed to be on the smaller side.I think stratum, and vagans are my favorite brachypelma.

I have a sexed female albiceps that looks just like it. 3" legspan, at least, and still brown instead of blue/black. We may have hybrids, they may be something else, but they resemble albiceps in every other way. I'll post a pic or pm you soon, I have alot going on right now. Cheers buddy. It was purchased as B albiceps but when compared to the other one I have (on the LHS) the colouration of the abdomen and legs (and size) makes me think their might be a bit of a hybrid in her. Consensus being either klasii or bohemia in there too? The legs are chocolate brown/deep red which I have never seen in any other albiceps I have owned as always jet black. The carapace is deffo 'albiceps' in appearance though.
Brachypelma sabulosum left
Brachypelma vagans right
The sabulosum is a month older...View attachment 36804It still amazes me why people dont like sabulosum and the prefer the other tedious slow growing Brachypelma's.
mine is approx 4 to 5 inches so she is as big as she is likely to get.Out of all the Brachys, B. schroederi is without a doubt the best eater not many know about. It's also supposed to be on the smaller side.
