I was told that something called a Horned Worm makes a great treat for Tarantulas...However, Id like to confirm that here...and also, I was wondering if Superworms are ok for them?
Horned worms are edible, but T's don't need Treats.
In order of Nutritional value.. Roaches>Crickets > worms > everything else. Worms are just fatty, and meal/super worms can be dangerous. They can and will bite.
I'm going to have to find somewhere I can get roaches...She is eating large crickets at the moment. I'm glad I asked about the super worms O.O Thank you again.
I'm VERY glad I found this forum. It seems the lady who was giving me *tips* is pretty far off. I did my own research before hand...I always do...but I didn't know about the worms at all.
Sweet, I shall start my search first thing. I THINK I know of a place that might have them...When I had my bearded dragon, I got him as a little guy at a Reptile event. And they were all being fed captive bred(so clean, lol) maggots. I could not find them ANYWHERE after that, it sucked. I will make the roaches happen.
