First Tarantula and need some advice

New here with my first Tarantula. I have an A. versicolor. Very young, bought from a breeder in town. He told me that I could keep it in this tiny cup for now but from what I've read it seems that this tarantula would do better in a different container with better ventilation. Here are some pictures. Thoughts/comments?

yeah that cup is a bit small. a deli cup would do well for a while.

You have a very amazing sling. And the deli cup are very easy to come by.

Okay I'll move it to a larger cup. I have a few of those 'betta' cups that you see at a pet store. Think one of those would work better?

I would get something a bit taller with them its the hight that matters most. But it would still be better that what you have now. And you welcome.

I agree with khatchet, a little more height would be good. Empty peanut butter jars come in handy, position it on its lid end so the sling doesn't web up near the lid. Melt some holes in the top circumference with a very small nail heated over a flame. That's a lovely little blue sling!
