My little T. gigas, Cayenne, moulted yesterday. It appears to have grown quite a bit.

They do grow a lot with each molt, don't they? I'm always amazed how much bigger/longer mine looks after one (as opposed to my P. Met, lol).

They do. I haven't seen it properly yet but just from the bit I can see it looks a lot bigger. I'm hoping it might come out of its burrow so I can get a decent photo.

These 2 are turning into pigs, pouncing on food as soon as I put it in, even before I get their lids back on.

B. albopilosum, Coco,

O. diamantinensis , Culli

I'd noticed a few days ago that a couple of my Ts were getting a bit soggy due to spilt water bowls. I've had a plumber in fitting my new central heating boiler so the cats and dog had to be fastened it the room where my Ts are kept meaning I daren't rehouse them so last night the cats were put out of the room and rehouse got underway. For once the 2 Ts helped by being relatively calm and I managed to get a couple of pics without all of their webbing.

L. sp. Borneo Black, Sable

H. incei, Calypso

H. sanguiniceps, Paria. I normally l see no more than feet or bum so it was a surprise to find it on the lid.

I think it's something on my camera that they sense because cats and dogs seem to react before I actually take the picture. I don't lift their lids unless I know I can get away with it like Culli who just sits there posing.
are you running a diffuser on your flash?
if its not an SLR ie. A pocket camera you can mak a diffuser by taping tissue over the flash. Then just play with how many layers to get desired effect.

Thank you for that, I'll give it a try. I just use a compact camera as it means I can have it in my pocket ready for any good shots.

A couple more little ones.

T.gigas, Cayenne. Another one that hides a lot so it was a treat to see it out and about.

Ami sp. Panama, Palma. this one seems to have settled well and already has a burrow half way down the vial.

A lot of bright orange legs of my OBT, Zera

Post moult pic of D. fasciatus, Beck. This one has really grown with this moult. My first
D. fasciatus died as a tiny sling so I'm thrilled Beck has thrived.

@sym Finally a post moult pic of H. sp Midnight Blue, Midnight.

After my C. perezmilesi, Beni, moulted last night today was the turn of my littlest B. smithi, Popo.

I have finally plucked up the courage to rehouse Trip, my P. metallica. Since its moult it has been really lively so I have been dreading it. The new home, an ExoTerra Nano 8''x8''x12'', has been ready for a few days so this afternoon I decided just to get on with it. Now I feel a fool as Trip made it so easy . I'd emptied out the nursery ExoTerra and put Trip's container inside, removed the branch and plant causing it to run like a loony but it stopped and stayed still. I took the risk of pointing the old container into the new and Trip, good as gold ran straight in.
