just got my first avicularia and it is a diversepies. Will need to wait for a molt or two to get a photo of her but I cant freaking wait!!!

Should I transfer my avic into the bigger one?

Stand the tank up and the Avic will be happy. It is a pretty big tank though. She will make a small web pocket and spend 85% of her time inside it. like martin said they like snug fit.

Haha,Avicularia Sp. Peru purple a stunning avic. It should exhibit puprle at the carapace,and a purplish hue on its hair as well. There is another option, the black stripe pink toe why I didn't say that one since it has to have a solid black line run over the abdomen.

Do me a favour,look up the Avicularia Sp. Peru purple and compare just be careful some on the net are not the Sp. Peru purple. I think I saw a piece about it on arachnaboards BTS and ATS.

Actually, this is my A.sp. Peru Purple (A.urticans). Completely different from the A.sp.Ecuador. I do have A.purpurea as well as A.sp. "Purple Peru" which are completely different as well.
