My daughter got an ant farm for her birthday, but the kit doesn't specify what to feed, or what species of ant they are..any suggestions? The picture shows small red ants. (They are ordered, on route)

I used to be a ant keeper, until my colony of Crematogaster peringueyi escaped in my room. I recently got back in the game and i currently own a super colony of Pheidole megacephalum.

They are fast outgrowing it because they like it so much haha, I made a video on my YouTube channel of how I made it

That set up is way cool, I think that would be interesting to watch how they live their lives. I have to admit that I am not a fan of ants in my house. Same with cockroaches.
