Just got my first colony today and a few potential queens. Formicariums are en route. Who else here is into ant keeping? Anyone?
Im into formiculture as well. have a nice camponotus absquatulator colony going with a bunch of majors, but no supermajors yet, oddly.
they were lol! i ALMOST got it to work, but there was always that one worker that's like "oh hellz naw" and just rips the ca-02 apart. oh well lolAre these the ones that were brood-boosted with the CA-02?
Thanks,
Arthroverts
I have a colony of Camponotus nicobarensis - they are ace I have mine in a soil nest surrounded by water (in a fish tank in fact haha, they are doing great)Just got my first colony today and a few potential queens. Formicariums are en route. Who else here is into ant keeping? Anyone?
They are fast outgrowing it because they like it so much haha, I made a video on my YouTube channel of how I made itI wanna see the moat setup!
Ah gotcha. That's unfortunate, but I guess it goes to show that there is a reason CA-02 brood aren't found in absqultator nests, ha ha.they were lol! i ALMOST got it to work, but there was always that one worker that's like "oh hellz naw" and just rips the ca-02 apart. oh well lol
