I first adopted a Chilean Rose hair from a crazy lady off craigslist. It was a fair deal and came with hide/terrarium. My spider was left in with tons of dead crickets and the lady would just dump a whole bag in. At first, I didn't even like spiders - was slightly afraid of them; however, overcame this quickly. He/she was the first tarantula I have ever picked up in my entire life. His/her name is Fluffy.
The first molt I ever witnessed. Can't wait for another!
After upgrading my dartfrogs, I had a leftover 5gal which I decided to get another tarantula. I researched what colors this local reptile shop had by me; however, didn't research temperament at all. Ended up with my little OBT, Creamsicle. I love it's shiny green toes and can not wait for him/her to get bigger!
Now these aren't the most recent pictures, it's made a HUGE web mansion that he/she can travel throughout. It started by digging a tunnel/webbing underground but not sure there's enough substrate for that. Hasn't touched his hide at all! It's basically where the crickets hide. And it hasn't molted yet.
I want more tarantulas already!
