I never heard of the orange and bread method, I'd stick to fresh veggies. This will give them proper nutrients and hydration to keep your tarantula healthy.

What size should the water bowl be ? So far I've only seen small water dishes.

Fruits and veggies will feed and hydrate them at the same time.

Some people I know don't use cricket gel as a hydration, but I use it and it works well for me.

I also clean my feeder enclosures every few days, just so they don't stink. All I do it wipe them down with damp paper towels. Try and find banded crickets, as they stink less than regular pet store crickets.

Okay one more thing, with the plants and decoration.

I researched Pothos, but they say that the stirmi may cut up leaves and destroy the plant. I also read that you have to also take care of them due to the humidity in the enclosure.

That's two ways the Pothos may seem not useful and potentially an expensive waste of money.

Can I use plastic/fake plant decorations in the enclosure ?

I tried to find banded crickets, but I can't find any to fit my budget...100 for $15... PetSmart doesn't accept cash app online or in store to buy the crickets from them.

I did find 250 1/2" non banded crickets on Amazon for $15 but they wouldn't be delivered until August 5th-7th. Tarantula will be here on the 3rd or 4th.

Ok I got the hide placed and sphagnum moss layered on the substrate...

Should I add more sphagnum moss where I left it bare? Wanted to leave some run around room for the T..

I think you're good on the sphagnum. If it were mine I'd even take some out. It's all coming together nicely!

Would you be opposed to adding some leaf litter? Think it would give the enclosure a nice touch.
