Wow, that's a grand age but such a shame she had such a horrible death.

In another article it says that a team of 23 scientists and rangers identified 50 new spider species in two weeks in the bush on Cape York Peninsula.
It makes you wonder how many inverts are yet to be described.

There must be a lot when you think f how much land there is still to be explored .

I was amazed it lived that long in the wild. Can't believe some predator didn't get it sooner.
