Hi,

Im wondering why my curly hair looks like it has died? I’ve had her/him around a year now and just found her in water bowl ? Not moving ?

can anyone give me any info on this ?

she has always fed and moulted well ?
Fed once a week , a live cricket.

At a glance, the enclosure appears to be very damp and have a lot of mold growth. I would suspect stuffy conditions may have led to the sudden death. I'm so sorry for your loss, but if you have any other tarantulas whose enclosures have gotten swampy, I'd be inclined to move them to a drier enclosure.

From all I've read, it's easy to overdampen enclosures. I err on the side of too dry, personally and (knock on wood) I've never had any losses.

This

Drier enclosure with moss and water dish is really all you need for most terrestrials, not withstanding ones that specifically require higher humidity

Sorry for your loss

Also, looks to be in heavy premolt with that dark abdomen. Definitely just needs dry substrate with a water dish. Sorry for your loss.
