It's been over a week since these guys/gals molted so I enticed them with food to finally get some pics.

My little GBB molted mid week. Here she is with her molt. I'm going to fish it out this weekend. She's so cute.

good job was able to post last week then A moult in a new home is always best. Apparently one of the Versi I posted moulted whilst in the care of Royal Mail. It was fine thankfully.

I've had a few moult in the post and none have ever come to any harm. I'll be honest the sp Blue's moult was one of the most nerve wracking I've had in a while after losing my1st one the day after it's moult.

This post is late, but when I received 7 Selenotypus "sp.2" on the 3rd of April they had been 7 days in the post and two had moulted.
This photo is a moult that was on top of the tub so I just placed the tub into the enclosure and let the sling come out when it was ready.

I wasn't aware this next one was moulting/had moulted until I unearthed it and it took off dragging a moult behind it.
Selenotypus sp.2 and moult A2.JPG
I directed it into the enclosure where it started to do laps. The moult got snagged on a leaf so I held the moult while the sling struggled to free itself. I didn't pull on it but now that there was some resistance to the slings' efforts it managed to free itself.

This little guy is my runt....I named him John 5. (I have 5...lol)
He's a Irideopelma hirsutum. Hes at the 4th instar phase of life but he's half the size of his sac mates. He had a regenerated or abnormally small leg when I got him. When he molted to 3rd instar that leg regenerated normal but he got stuck and lost half of his right front leg from the tibia down. Today I woke again to him Stuck but I was able to free him. You can see the white tip is his new regenerated tip.
