Eupalaestrus Campestratus emerged moulted last night although not a great pic. Hopefully I can sex the moult when she throws it out and confirm female.

It's kinda happy and kinda sad. My P sp machala matured out as a male. I'm about 99% sure of it. I didn't know you could see that much purple without violating certain federal laws!!

I'm wondering if I should trade him for something or just enjoy him until the end. The question is how much are males in demand?

Maybe 2 E olivacea slings or 3 M balfouri slings. That enclosure would be a perfect size for them. Just drop feeders into the web. Wash rinse repeat.

To clarify, E olivacea is NOT communal. M balfouri species is & thrives that way.

I also have the perfect juvenile sized enclosure for E olivacea, actually 2 good ones.

Well my brachyphelma albo had her first molt with me. I'm guessing it happened some time between yesterday morning and tonight. I fed her about 4 days ago because she came out of her burrow looking for food. Then yesterday at around 730am I checked on her and topped her water dish off. She looked normal from what I could see. Had no idea she was in pre molt. Then tonight before bed I checked on her. As I looked into her burrow I saw a whole mess of legs. She's already right side up and looking healthy. I'd like to get the molt so I can sex it but I'd have to move the cork bark and I'm worried about disturbing her. Should I just leave it there until she is fully hardened? She looks like she made it through the molt just fine.
