Who's molted today

Alphonopelma seemanni female molted today. Minutes after flipping over she had a drink. And people say tarantulas dont need water.

My Brachypelma auratum Male molted last night.

Last night about 9:30pm it flipped. Checked again about 2AM when the dogs wanted out and it had finished molting. Pic is this morning.

All Ts moult and the smaller/younger they are the more often they do. Frequency depends on many things like species, feeding and temperatures.

Yes, you could miss a moult, some Ts moult down in their burrows and will leave it down below.

But my spider is a pinktoe and wouldn't be burying. I am surprised that I haven't seen a moult in 3 months

Then 3 months wouldn't be anything to worry about. How big is it?

About one and half inches

In that case don't worry. that moult will come when the T is ready.

Finally managed to get to pictures of my C.Versicolor that molted recently. It came out the other night and actually posed for the camera. And I have to say, I'm in love. I can't get over how beautiful it is.

Rizal, my little Phlogiellus sp Palawan has moulted today

Walked in this morning and my G.pulchripes is almost finished molting. Looked in the enclosure and thought I was seeing double. "My T has way too many legs." Hope it doesn't destroy it.
