Every time you post up pokies, I feel another spider go on the list.

My recently acquired Poecilotheria metallica molted. There's a very, very slight hint of blue on the legs, but it's still a while away from having adult coloration.

While watering my crew this morning I noticed one of my OBTs is currently molting right side up. This might get interesting.

Avicularia minatrix left a freshly molted shell below its web hammock.

Burried in this webbed cocoon, you can almost make out the Avicularia avicularia. Its old clothes are sitting a little bit above it. This happened within the last two hours, so it's very very fresh. Hopefully it'll pop out so I can get a clear look at how large it is now.

Both of the Avicularias are well concealed in their web caves, obscured from clear view. There's movement in both, so they look like they're doing ok, I just hope they pop out for a peak at their growth.

My OBT had a successful molt. This is the first time I’ve witnessed a T molt right side up.

Hi guys, new tarantula owner here.
I have a GBB tarantula juvenile that has just molted for the first time and I'm having trouble determining the sex. Could anyone help me figure this one out.

Depends on the maturity. Easier to see in older T’s

The discarded molt of a Heteroscodra maculata sitting out on the curb for pick up. How did it know that Friday was garbage day?
