Who has the biggest appetite in your collection? I am nominating money spider my smallest Rosie who eats 3 crickets (size 2 which are as big as him when there heads are removed) every week. It's not just the amount he eats but the enthusiasm he has for his food that gets my vote. Pirate, one of my genics is in joint first place with money when it comes to eating, he has 4 large crickets a week and not one of them has ever landed on the floor as he waits and catches them before they know what's going on. Anyone think any of there's would give money and pi a run for there money ?

Definitely Noelle (rosie), if given more than one cricket she will gladly eat them both at the same time. The other two NEVER grab food right when it's offered, they wait until no one's around before they munch their food. I was surprised that Chaos, being an obt, has such a laid back attitude towards prey...I was hoping for much more action lol

Rosies can be greedy despite there innocent appearances. I had an obt years ago , never saw it but used to hear it charging about and throwing things around it's enclosure. It was given to me by someone who could not keep it along with a b smithi and a semani who were both really sweet lovely ts. I can't even remember what its name was I think I'm going senile. Money spider has been dancing around with his cricket since mid day and its nearly nine o'clock now. I wouldn't be surprised if he taps on the lid and asks for dessert in a minute.

I'd have to say my G. rosea(Rooney), only because she is bigger, she takes 2 super worms, or 3 large crickets per feeding. My B. vagans can take a large meal worm, or medium/large cricket per feeding, and eats until she can barely move, pretty sure she'll be my next to moult.

She is so fat now, not looking forward to the months of pre moult :p. She is slowly coming around, i refilled her water dish and she didn't try to murder my hand :D.
Maybe after she moults she'll come down.. Doubt it, but hey... wishful thinking.

All three of mine are vivacious eaters. Both my rosie and suntiger eat as soon as the crickets hit the dirt, but I just need to wait until dark for the cobalt. I love when it is time to feed them.

You can't beat dinner time. I don't get to see all of mine eat very often tho. They are usually at there greediest when I first buy them then seem to calm down once they realise I am not going to let them starve.

Pirate and Money do as well. They would be paid up members of over eaters anonymous if they were human.

LOL the visual I have in my head of your obt right now is hilarious!! Chaos has been much calmer/sweet than what I was expecting. She didn't move at all the last couple of times I've had to open her enclosure. The only time she seemed riled up is after the incident with her home being upended...but really, that would piss of anyone lol.

I really wish you had videos of your spiders, all your stories of Money just make me want to see him in action :D

That obt was serial killer material. I can't remember what its name was, I had rescued a big free range spider from a horses water bucket that day then a friend turned up with six ts, I remember the b smithi I called orinoco and the a seemani was Valentine and always moving her hut and substrate around I was besotted with them. There was a l parhybana I named Manhattan who was huge and nice natured and always sat in her hut with her feet sticking out. I can't remember the others. As for Money, I'm starting to think he's not as dozy as he makes out.

Hands down, my pulchra, Apache. This T will eat every day twice a day if I allowed it. (This is a good thing since I need him to mature so I can send him off to make baby Ts~!)

It's a tie between my G. pulchiripes and L. parahybana. Both are voracious, but one (GP) "attacks and kills" her food, while (LP) daintily taps the crix to make sure they aren't going to get her....
