I bought the p. reduncus about a year ago, pretty sure it has molted once (I now keep better track of molts, I didn't used to
is that an egg sac it's protecting? ive never paired her
is that even possible?

It definitely looks like an egg sack to me. If she has moulted in your care it will be infertile so just leave it with her until she realises it's no good and abandons it.
Ts occasionally produce infertile sacs but at least you know now she is definitely female.

My Psalmopeous Ecclesiasticus and Emeraldus dropped phantom sacs! Evidently these girls in this genus are rarein to go!! Lol! I pulled the Ecclesiasticus because she disappeared forever and the sac was why. She ,I think, would have set on it forever but the Emeraldus consumed hers which is really for the best. Makes T keeping more fun though. BTW , when I pulled the Ecclesiasticus sack there were about 78 egg's.
