My mom used to say: "Only 10 insects at a time in your room." She counted my mealworm farm as 1 insect.
Once, I caught a wolf spider with an egg sac. I thought it would drop the sac due to stress. Lo and behold, the sac hatched out about 6 or so tiny spiderling, putting me over my 10 insects limit. I released the mother and her babies back to my backyard.
Now, I'm in grad school, I can have as many in my room as I want

Yeah Im not sopost to have as many pets as i do. But thats ok ill set my own limit. As long as there is no dewndeling in the care i well keep going.
