What would you recommend we use as a mini enclosure? Is the tub or cup that you keep the sling in not too small for a water dish?
Here is my Avicularia juruensis M2 sling it's under 2cm and in a 25ml vial with holes drilled in it, and will be in here for at least a moult or 2.

I don't bother with a water dish at this size obviously. Just mist the webbing every few days, as long as you have that ventilation it won't get stuffy. I have 5 holes in a line like that at opposite sides of the cup so 20 holes round the cup and a further 13 or 14 I think in the lid.

Looks soaked from the pic, idk why you would ever advocate against a water dish for an Avic.
Made this just for you, gawna put an A. avic in it. Used the end of a pen and melted the end down to seal it and shorten a bit, and glued it to the side obviously not done yet but the water dish is in lol. I put the substrate in before hand so I never spilled any in the water dish.

You don't have to prove anything to me brother, just never would tell a beginner not to provide a water dish for an Avic, that's all that didn't sit right with me.
Wasn't proving anything bro, you got me thinking how I could get a water dish in one of those containers as that's what I use for all my avic slings, never meant it to come across like that.

could you post another pic or two, like maybe a wider angle from the side. I think I want to try something like that but am having a little trouble visualizing

Was super glue I used so I always leave it at least 24 hours to make sure it's dry gawna be adding some cork bark and the T today I will post a pic of finished setup soon. The pen cap I used as a water dish though holds less than a single mist spray so I will keep it updated on how long it lasts.

I also thought of using a single Lego brick but couldn't find any when I was doing it, got a few now though so if this works gawna try it with them.

literally a bit of an LOL here. the first picture looked like you had glued it to the bottom of a clear lid so it was kind of floating in the middle, now I see it.
I keep mostly terrestrial/fossorial (~100) and a few (about 5) arboreal but am thinking about keeping more arboreal so am starting to educate myself on the different husbandry needs and methods to do that.
here's a couple pics of what I have so far, need to add a water dish and thinking of adding a small bushy plastic plant to the top portion/lid.

if you are filling once a week does it really matter how long it lasts? meaning you fill it, the t has a day to get a drink if it wants it. between that one day and its prey it should be enough?

If you use a deep water cap and superglue it to it midway in the enclosure, it can last up to a week before you have to fill it again. I recommend not using Poland Spring water bottle caps, as they are very shallow.

I use "seltzer" style water bottle caps. These are found at Walmart in the drinks section for around 86 cents.
